Nationwide prayers for late Prince (2020)

To mark 40 days of the passing of Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim, mass recitations of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil will be held at mosques, suraus and religious halls across the country on the evening of December 2, with Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah as the main focal point.

“The people of Brunei Darussalam express their deepest sympathy and condolences on the passing of Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim on October 24,” Imams said while delivering the Friday sermon.

Brunei supports ‘One ASEAN’ approach to disaster management (2020)

Brunei Darussalam is committed to strengthening and improving the spirit of ‘One ASEAN One Response’ while continuing to support initiatives that strengthen regional collaboration in disaster response, including civil military coordination.

This was said by Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong during the 8th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM) and the 9th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (COP to AADMER) via virtual teleconference on Friday.

Two win Bangkok trips at Nissan roadshow (2020)

Two lucky winners won a trip to Bangkok, Thailand during a roadshow organised by Nissan Brunei at The Mall in Gadong yesterday.

Muhammad Syazawan Salahuddin bin Abdul Latif and Abdul Muazzam bin Haji Abdul Malik were selected from the Nissan Sawadee promotion held from January to February this year.
