MoH senior officials visit 22 underprivileged patients

Senior officials from the Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday visited the homes of 22 underprivileged patients registered under the ministry’s Medical Welfare Division to distribute donations. Cash, basic necessities, essential food items and medical equipment were distributed by five teams across all four districts, with the first team in Brunei-Muara District being led by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, who visited the homes of five patients. – HAKIM HAYAT

SENIOR officials from the Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday visited the homes of 22 underprivileged patients registered under the ministry’s Medical Welfare Division, to distribute donations.

Cash, basic necessities, essential food items and medical equipment were distributed by five teams across all four districts. The first team in the Brunei-Muara District was led by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, who visited to homes of five patients which included children and senior citizens with different medical conditions.

No offences recorded during Neighbourhood Watch patrol

ROYAL Brunei Police Force (RBPF) personnel of Kampong Ayer Police Station who conducted a Neighbourhood Watch crime prevention patrol late last Friday night at the areas under the police station’s jurisdiction did not find any offences.

Pair pleads guilty to trespassing, mischief

A PAIR of local women, who have pleaded guilty to charges of trespassing and mischief will be sentenced by the Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.

Hafizah binti Zakaria, 34, and Bibi Suryati binti Jefridin trespassed into the compound of two terraced houses at RPN Kampong Panchor Mengkubau at 6am on May 9 that were vacant and still in the possession of the Housing Development Department under the Ministry of Development.
