MoH clears air on medicine containing Losartan

THE Ministry of Health (MoH) Brunei issued a statement on Thursday to reassure members of the public with regard to the quality of Losartan and Valsartan-containing medicines in the country.

This is with respect to the recent news of Losartan and Valsartan containing medicines being recalled by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia dated November 23, 2018 reported in newspapers and social media.

Refrain from spreading PSR results: MoE (2018)

FOLLOWING findings by the Ministry of Education (MoE) on the results of the Primary School Assessment (PSR) 2018 examinations that went viral since Wednesday, the MoE sought the public cooperation to refrain from spreading PSR results which could cause discomfort to some candidates and affect the confidentiality of the information.

THE ASEAN-Korea Centre held the opening ceremony of the 2018 ASEAN Culinary Festival at COEX, Seoul on Thursday.

Brunei’s Communication Attache at the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Korea Rosnani binti Mohd Yassin is one of the chefs for the culinary festival.

HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and members of the royal family will participate in the 11.5km bicycle ride at the Brunei December Festival 2018 at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ’Ali Saifuddien in the capital on Sunday.

The Brunei December Festival 2018 will be launched on Sunday at 6.30am.
