Gohan offers good deal on teppanyaki dishes

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - GOHAN Sushi Restaurant is currently having its “Gohan’s Teppanyaki Promo” where customers can get 30 per cent off on more than 20 teppanyaki dishes when they spend a minimum of $10.

The dishes include a variety of beef, chicken, lamb, prawn, seafood, tofu and vegetables menus, namely Sakana Fish Teppan, Tori Teri Teppan, Lamb Teppan, Tuna Chahan Teppan, Black Pepper Beef Teppan and Hotate Teppan.

Public invited to KBSentral’s open atrium

BELAIT - SENTRAL Shopping Centre (KBSentral) is welcoming members of the public to join its Hari Raya celebration at the atrium today.

The ‘open atrium’ starts at 2pm and the shopping centre has prepared a list of fun games and activities for visitors of all ages.

Food and drinks will be contributed by selected diners in the shopping centre.

All cabs will have taxi meters by end of August

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - ALL taxis will install taxi meters by the end of August to ensure passengers are paying a regulated and consistent rate, the Land Transport Department (LTD) announced yesterday.

LTD Director Dr Hj Supry Hj Ladi (pic) said all 50 licensed taxi operators have agreed to install taxi meters.

TUTONG - HEAVY showers did little to dampen the spirits of thousands of well-wishers who yesterday attended His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 70th birthday celebrations in Tutong.

His Majesty also braved the rain as he descended to the Tutong Community Hall Complex field to meet his subjects who waited in lines to convey their birthday greetings to the monarch.
