A FOREIGN family of four escaped with minor injuries following a self-accident along the Lumut-Telisai Highway at 1pm Thursday.
The driver had lost control of the car, resulting in the vehicle crashing and eventually being sandwiched between the traffic dividers.
The male victim told the Bulletin that they were headed to Miri, Sarawak, and that his wife had been behind the wheel. The other passengers were their five-year-old daughter and two-year-old son.
He suspected the accident was the result of the tyres losing traction given the slippery road condition. The wife and children were rushed to hospital.
