THE Ministry of Health (MoH) Sunday announced the relocation of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital’s Neurology, Neurosurgery and Rehabilitation Services to the Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) effective today, it said in a press statement.
This will be made in phases to ensure a systematical and structured transition, MoH said while also announcing that its specialists will conduct their services at the PJSC and all patients referred by any hospitals and health centres will receive treatment at PJSC.
However, RIPAS Hospital will maintain its outpatient and in-patient services for some patients who would not be transferred to PJSC for certain reasons such as those patients who require other specialist care in RIPAS Hospital.
Members of the public who have appointments with the section are advised to follow the instructions in their respective appointments and will be informed by nursing staff at the Neurology, Neurosurgery and Rehabilitation Services to reconfirm dates and times of their next appointments via telephone.
PJSC operates from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Thursday, 8am to noon and 2pm to 5pm on Friday.
More information on the relocation can be obtained from MoH’s website www.moh.gov.bn or RIPAS Hospital’s customer service unit at 2240285 and PJSC or call Darussalam line at 123.
