Commander of RBLF with other senior RBLF personnel cut a cake to mark the 57th anniversary of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF)

THE Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) celebrated its 57th anniversary Sunday with a parade comprising 2,297 personnel at the First Battalion Parade Square in Berakas Garrison.
Commander of the RBLF Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Khairul Hamed bin Haji Lampoh pledged the RBLF’s undivided loyalty to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). He also emphasised on the preparedness and readiness of the RBLF and advised all RBLF personnel to remain vigilant and adapt to the increasingly challenging strategic environment.
The Commander of the RBLF also underscored the key achievements and notable progress that has been made by the RBLF throughout the year particularly in areas of defence diplomacy as well as at the operational level.
The Commander of the RBLF highlighted the RBLF’s growing capabilities which serve to improve the RBLF’s operational readiness and stressed that security and discipline must be improved and maintained.
In conjunction with the RBLF’s anniversary, the Land Force Doctrine and Future Land Operating Concept books were launched to be used as the guiding principles for RBLF personnel in carrying out their roles and responsibilities.
The ceremony continued with a prize and certificate presentation to the RBLF personnel who achieved exemplary commendations in their courses and sports.
Various activities were also organised to commemorate the 57th RBLF anniversary including a Tahlil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum and Doa Kesyukuran.
