THE body of the Nepalese man, who went missing after a boat collision near the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Bridge on Friday, was recovered on Sunday morning.
He was identified as Thakuri Gurung, 38, who worked as a security guard at the Gurkha Reserve Unit.
The Kampong Ayer Police Station received an alert at around 7.40am, after Gurung’s body was found floating near Pehin Dato Jamil Primary School in Kampong Setia ‘A’.
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) is continuing its investigation into the boat collision. Anyone with information can contact the Kampong Ayer Police Station, or call the hotline at 993.
