GALLERIA YMRM and YMRM Enterprise opened its sixth branch in Brunei at the Rimba Point in RPN Kampong Rimba, Gadong as the premier textile store strives to offer more convenience as its customer base expands on Friday.
Indian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Ajaneesh Kumar was the guest of honour.
Managing Director of YMRM Enterprise Hitesh Ramesh Bhawnani said the new branch addition is in line with its long-term expansion plan, and its drive to support and spur economic activity and growth in the country.
The Indian High Commissioner, Proprietor of YMRM Enterprise Ramesh Jiwatram Bhawnani and spouse, as well as YMRM’s managing director had a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the brand new store.
A Doa Selamat was also recited to bless the occasion.
The new store offers products including shirts, baju cara melayu, baju kurung, jubah, songkok, handbags, sinjang, and hijabs as well as household decorative items.
The location of the new branch takes into account the population of the RPN Kampong Rimba and is aimed at giving nearby residents convenience in purchasing quality essential fashion items at affordable prices. It is also hoped to offer more job opportunities for locals in the area.
During the occasion on Friday, Galleria YMRM handed over a donation in the form of 100 metres of white cloth to the Kampong Birau Mosque to be used for funeral rites.
