Royalty at Stella’s School 50th anniversary (2019)

IT WAS a starry night filled with pomp and pagentry for Stella’s School as it celebrated its 50th anniversary last night at Tarindak D’Seni in the capital.

His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah binti Pengiran Haji Bolkiah attended the anniversary and reunion dinner.

Also in attendance were Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara.

Also present was the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yusof and spouse.

Colourful performances including Peacock Dance, Wonderful World song, Malay drama by the school’s pupils as well as presentation of video history mesmerised the evening in the presence of hundreds of present and former students as well as their parents.

There was also cheque presentation for BruWILD from Stella’s School recent carnival charity held at the school amounting to BND8,480.

Certificates were also presented to the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications and Dr Haji Azaharani bin Haji Jamil who were former chairperson of the Parents-Teachers Association of the school.

A token of appreciation was also presented to Persatuan Kereta Tahan Lasak Brunei Darussalam (PKTLB) for their assistance in rendering welfare projects organised by the school.

It ended with a performance finale by kindergarten and primary pupils.
