The ‘Mukim Connect’ organised by the JobCentre Brunei at Kampong Pandan Community Hall in Kuala Belait on Thursday, aimed to equip jobseekers with knowledge from potential employers and reduce unemployment across the country.
A briefing was also held by a Human Relations (HR) representative from JobCentre Brunei who highlighted the services and facilities provided for jobseekers and companies.
Booths were set up allowing attendees to learn more about the companies and view available vacancies. A number of companies also held a walk-in interview.
The participating companies were Serikandi Oil Field Services Sdn Bhd, Serikandi Cafe and Restaurant, Massutera Engineering Sdn Bhd, SPHI Foods, Sahid Sdn Bhd, Adinin Works and Engineering Sdn Bhd, Megalift Sdn Bhd, and Rentokil.
A similar event will be conducted in Mukim Bokok, Temburong District tomorrow.
