Ten local Royal Brunei Catering (RBC) chefs left for Kuala Lumpur to compete in Culinaire Malaysia 2019 Cooking Competition on September 26-29 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Friday.
The competition is a collaboration between the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH), Professional Chefs Associations (PCA) and Malaysian Food & Beverage Executives Association (MFBEA).
RBC team is led by the Head of Culinary chef Shahril.
General Manager of RBC Haji Jeff Hadiman bin Dato Paduka Haji Danial was present at the Brunei International Airport to bid them farewell.
The chefs have undergone training and perfected their individual dishes five months prior to the competition.
They will undertake individual and team competition in the Golden Bull Culinary Challenge and Avant-Garde categories.
