Radisson Hotel wins two awards (2020)

The Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam won two prestigious awards, namely the ASEAN Green Hotel Award and ASEAN MICE Venue Award, for the second time in the ASEAN Tourism Awards ceremony held at The Empire Brunei on January 17.

The ASEAN Green Hotel standard deals with essential elements of Green Hotel operations which are environmental plan, green product, human resource and environmental management. Radisson Hotel Group has a long history of being a responsible business where they believe in conducting business ethically in all they do and want to be a thriving, sustainable and responsible business for people, communities and the planet. Radisson Hotel is silver certified in EarthCheck, which is trusted by more than 1,300 organisations in over 70 countries where it is used to measure key environmental indicators such as energy and water consumption, total waste production and community commitment.

ASEAN MICE Venue Standard is a growing sector in ASEAN member countries where the standards include three key criteria namely physical setting, technology and service. Radisson Hotel is committed to providing comprehensive green meeting opportunities where they work to make everything as it should and aim for 100 per cent guest satisfaction.

Commenting on the awards recognition, Director of Sales and Marketing Paula Munoz said that they enjoy serving with a ‘Yes I Can!’ spirit as they deliver memorable moments to their guests.
