GHK Motors Sdn Bhd unveiled its customised Maxus V80 Food Truck on Friday, aimed at meeting the business needs of its customers.
The unveiling came following a press conference announcing the arrival of the latest range of food trucks offered by the authorised distributor/dealer of the Maxus line in Brunei Darussalam.
A British brand, produced by Shanghai Automotive Industry Cooperation (SAIC Motors), the model for the Brunei market is the 2.5L diesel engine manual transmission. It comes equipped with dual airbag and three front seats.
“With the visible growth in the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Brunei Darussalam, GHK Motors takes the initiative to provide customers with tailor-made vehicles to suit their business requirements,” said GHK Motors Marketing Executive Ahmad Faezul Imtiaz bin Adam at the press conference at the GHK Motors headquarters in Beribi.
The Maxus Food Truck can be fabricated into various types of mobile kitchens, equipped with an oven, cabinet, tables, refrigerator and so forth, according to customers’ preferences.
The food truck’s body vinyl or stickers of preference can also be customised. All fabrication works are carried out locally by GHK Auto Assembly Sdn Bhd, and GHK Motors will also provide assistance for the application of permit to the Land Transport Department if required.
The Maxus V80 can also be used for other businesses such as delivery, catering and cargo, or converted into a 16-seater mini bus.
Ahmad Faezul said the number of seats can also be customised according to customer preference.
