Royalty attend 99th Police Day Parade (2020)



His Royal Highness signs a memorial plaque

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office on Tuesday attended the 99th Police Day Parade at the Parade Square, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Headquarters.

The parade was held in conjunction with the 99th anniversary of RBPF’s establishment.

Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Commandant of the Women’s Police was present.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali. Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah were also present.

During the ceremony, His Royal Highness received the royal salute and inspected the parade contingents of the RBPF. The contingents comprised 1,021 personnel from various departments and formations within the RBPF and led by Superintendent Haji Hamri Aslan bin Haji Abu Hanafiah.

After the inspection, His Royal Highness delivered a sabda.

To bless the ceremony, a Doa Selamat was read by ASP Mohammad Amerol bin Haji Metussin.

After the parade, His Royal Highness proceeded to the new building of the Police Headquarters to view an exhibition of photos and police uniforms.



His Royal Highness tours a photo exhibition at the Royal Brunei Police Force Headquarters

His Royal Highness then headed to the Banquet Hall for Santap Pagi.

Upon arrival at the Banquet Hall, His Royal Highness signed a memorial plaque and received a pesambah and consented for a group photo with the Supreme Committee of the 99th Police Day Parade.
