BruHealth users with yellow codes will be able to attend the Friday prayers once more, starting July 3.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar announced this at the daily press conference on Monday.
“The Ministry of Health (MoH) informs the public that starting this July 3, BruHealth yellow code holders will be allowed to perform the Friday prayers at mosques, suraus and religious halls throughout the country. Therefore, they can book their slots to attend the Friday prayers, starting from June 29,” the minister said.
Previously, only those with BruHealth green codes were allowed to take part in the Friday prayers. Each congregant will be required to bring his own face mask and a large prayer mat. Anyone failing to comply will be prohibited from joining the prayers.
Congregants are also advised to follow the instructions on the entry points at mosques, and observe social distancing.
