Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah on Thursday said that 160 people left Brunei Darussalam for Singapore and 115 arrived from Singapore since the establishment of Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) on September 1.
“The green lane was created for essential travel. It is not for leisure travel,” the minister said.
“Over the period of about three weeks or so since the establishment of the RGL, we have two flights to Singapore every week. On average, about 20 people are on each flight,” the minister said.
Travellers using the RGL will have to observe restrictions such as controlled itineraries, have a negative COVID-19 test prior to the trip and have a swab test on arrival at destination.
