MoU inked on Consumer Product Financing (2020)

A partnership on Consumer Product Financing (CPF) between Progresif Sdn Bhd and BIBD At-Tamwil Berhad, a subsidiary of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) was officially inked with a joint signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday.

The event was held at the Progresif Headquarters in Gadong.

Managing Director of BIBD At-Tamwil Haji Mohammad Said bin Haji Zania and CEO of Progresif Hajah Nurul Haniah binti Haji Mohd Jaafar were present as the signatories for the agreement of long-term collaboration. BIBD At-Tamwil will provide CPF facilities to enable customers to purchase new mobile handsets, routers and other devices from Progresif, with the convenience of monthly instalments and a one-time processing fee of BND60 waiver for the first month of the new agreement.

Hajah Nurul Haniah said BIBD customers will be able to apply for the CPF through BIBD At-Tamwil and Progresif will provide added convenience by providing on the spot approval of applications.

“Our aim is to streamline our procedures and promotions so that our customer-centric approach gives the customers the innovative buying experience we feel they deserve,” added the CEO.

The agreement and offer will begin on October 30 and end on November 30.
