Brunei Darussalam entered the third day without new COVID-19 cases on Friday, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 174 with three active cases receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre.
The latest information of COVID-19 as of noon on Friday was shared by MoH in a press release.
There were no local transmissions of the virus for 254 days.
The Ministry of Health (MoH) took 143 samples for testing for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours and carried out 86,510 tests since January 2020.
Some 547 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad while 11,271 have completed their stint since March 2020.
In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there were 139 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 29 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
