Stan Lee: Marvel Comics legend dies aged 95


Lee, the brains behind Spider-Man, Black Panther and X-Men, has died in California, his family says

 

American writer and former president of Marvel Comics Stan Lee has died at the age of 95.

In 1961, Lee created The Fantastic Four for Marvel Comics, and went on to create titles including Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk.

James Gunn: Guardians of the Galaxy director fired over offensive tweets

James Gunn has worked on the Guardians of the Galaxy films and the Avengers franchise

 

Disney has removed James Gunn as director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after a number of offensive social media posts resurfaced online.

The American filmmaker apologised after old tweets in which he appeared to joke about paedophilia and rape were unearthed and widely shared.
