THE first two Individual events of the 3rd Brunei Open Fencing Championship were contested yesterday at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.

GOLFERS participating in the five-day Korean Pro-Golfing Association (PGA) rookie golf championship being held at The Empire Hotel & Country Club golf course are impressed with its scenic views and beautiful fairways.

Dae Sik Sim, who has been golfing for more than 10 years, was taken by the beauty of the course.

FURTHER boosting Brunei’s efforts to aggressively position itself as a getaway for golfers, the country is currently hosting Korean Pro-Golfing Association (PGA) rookie golf championship which kick started yesterday.

This is for the first time the Korean PGA tournament is held in the Sultanate.
