BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - THE two top seeds will face off in the final of the Brunei Darussalam Tennis Association (BDTA) Open singles second leg tomorrow.

Top ranked Mohd Aiman Abdullah advanced into the title decider after dispatching third seed Mohd Yusree Hj Mohd Yusainey 6-0, 6-0 in the semi-finals on Wednesday night.

Hicks wins second straight Panaga Triathlon

BELAIT - GAVIN Hicks walked away with his second consecutive Panaga Triathlon title last weekend after completing a 500 metre sea swim, 20km bike ride and a 5.5km run in 1 hour 18 minutes and 28 seconds in the men’s open.

Peter Watson came just 19 seconds behind to place second while Fabrice Petrissans came third with a time of 1:20:30.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - STEVE Kean has warned his players that an in-form Home United FC will be a tough test for DPMM FC when the two sides clash in the Singapore League (S-League) at the Bishan Stadium in Singapore tonight.

Defending champions DPMM FC have been struggling of late but are finally back to winning ways after snapping a three-game winless streak with a hard fought 3-2 victory over Hougang United FC at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas last Saturday.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - MD FAKHRI Ismail will be lacing up for the Hong Kong Inter-City Athletic Championship 2016 on June 25 - his final international meet before the 2016 Rio Olympics in August.

The tournament will the nation’s top sprinter and national 100m record holder’s first time competing at the Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground, Hong Kong - where he will be contesting in the 100m event.

Mansur beats Erman to clinch Hakuna Matata 9-Ball tourney

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - MANSUR Syuwari (pic) was crowned champion of the Hakuna Matata 9-Ball Pool Tournament after defeating Erman Fadli Hamdan 7-4 in Sunday’s final.

Asrizal Asnan and Pg Md Faiq Hafizuddin Pg Hj Jalaludin both shared third at the one-day tournament held at the Master Alim Pool and Cafe in Kiulap.
