BRUNEI Darussalam produced their best-ever performance in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-15 Youth Championship after recording a 2-0 win over Cambodia at the Chonburi Campus Stadium 1 in Chonburi, Thailand yesterday.

THE finals of the Pencak Silat contest for Temburong District in conjunction with the 71st Birthday Celebrations of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, was held recently at Mukim Bokok Community Hall.

VIETNAM as the President of the Asean Schools Sports Council (ASSC) for the 2016-2017 period has handed over the presidency to Brunei Darussalam for a two-year period from 2018 to 2019 at a ceremony held at Marriot Tang Plaza, Singapore on Friday.

BRUNEI Darussalam’s national cueist Ahmad Taufiq Murni ended a relatively successful campaign in the 8th Golden Break 9 Ball Open 2017 as joint semi-finalists after losing 8-11 to Aloysius Yapp of Singapore in the last four at the Golden Break SJC in Malaysia yesterday.

A TOTAL of six athletes left for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last friday, led by Vice President of Brunei Darussalam Athletics Federation (BDAF) Major (Rtd) Md Talip bin Haji Md Tahir to participate in the 94th Malaysia Open/Pre-SEA Games event which will be held on July 17 and July 18 at Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur.
