BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - DARREN Chai and Stephanie Liew of Hybrid Movement successfully defended their titles in the men’s and women’s open categories at the 2nd Borneo Pangazou Functional Athletics Tournament in Kota Kinabalu yesterday.

Chai defeated nine other athletes to claim the men’s open category, which consisted of four total events involving functional movements over two days, at the Oceanus Waterfront Mall.

Kota Junior, RizFiz match stopped due to error

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - THE Takaful Brunei Futsal Super League match between reigning champions Kota Junior and RizFiz Futsal Team was stopped last night due to a technical error at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

The final futsal match of the day was stopped just five minutes into the second half with Kota Junior leading 6-3.

Kean eyeing unbeaten run

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - DPMM FC coach Steve Kean believes they will have to go unbeaten until the end of the Singapore League (S-League) season if they are to stand a chance at retaining their title.

The side are looking to snap a three-game run without a win, which includes two straight losses at home, when they host Hougang United at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas tonight.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - DARREN Chai and Stephanie Liew of Hybrid Movement will be looking to defend their titles in the men’s and women’s open categories at the 2nd Borneo Pangazou Functional Athletics Tournament in Kota Kinabalu this weekend.

Rachael Lee will travel with the duo and compete in the team category with teammates from X45 CrossFit Kinabalu.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - FIRST Five recorded their first win of the Takaful Brunei Futsal Super League after defeating NFT U-19 5-3 last night.

Mohammad Amirul Azmi Mohammad and Mohd Asyrol Rafiuddin Asmadi both bagged a brace in the victory, and Alimin Hj Damit also found the net for the newly promoted side at Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas
