SINAR Tours, responsible for bringing in tourist-chartered flights twice weekly from the South Korea to Brunei Darussalam and vice-versa, presented a cheque to sponsor the Brunei Darussalam Ladies Masters Softball National Team for the Asian Masters Softball Championship in Bangkok in July.

Jaspar vows to make international grade

BRUNEI Darussalam badminton player Jaspar Yu will be continuing his pursuit towards meeting the international level set by world class competitors in the Yonex Open Chinese Taipei 2017 from June 27 to July 2.

The national shuttler is in the main draw and will be meeting home-based opponent Chun-Wei Chen in the first round.

DPMM FC have been handed a favourable draw in the Singapore League Cup 2017 after being grouped alongside fellow Great Eastern-Hyundai S League strugglers Balestier Khalsa, Geylang International FC and Tampines Rovers FC in Group ‘B’.

Tampines Rovers are the only side who are challenging for the title in the domestic front.

BRUNEI will host its first ever Asian Enduro Series cycling race from September 27 to October 1, and Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has signed on as the title sponsor and official airline for the event.

The Asian Enduro Series mountain bike races were introduced in 2016 to uncover talented cyclists in Asia, prepare them for international competition and to boost tourism within the region.

THE higher committee of the National Pencak Silat Federation Brunei Darussalam (PERSIB) held a meeting with organisations affiliated with PERSIB nationwide for the first time at the Sports Village in Berakas yesterday.
