BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - YANG Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim ended his campaign at the 5th Brunei Open and Masters Swimming Championship 2016 with two more personal records yesterday.

Present to witness the competition at the Aquatics Centre of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah.

Kukris thrash UBD to lift rugby premiership

BRUNEI-MUARA - FLYING Kukris RFC retained their status as the country’s rugby union top dogs yesterday after defeating Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Sharks 17-0 to win the Brunei Rugby Football Union Premiership 2016 final in convincing fashion at the Sungai Kebun Sports Complex in Lumapas.

The Kukris largely dominated the match yesterday with play rarely leaving the Sharks’ half throughout the 80 minutes.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - G530 Racing Team A were crowned champions of the 6th Lof Cycling Challenge 2016 yesterday.

The team of Azmi Abd Hadzid, Shannon Basman and Yudi Rachmad Mursidi combined for a total time of 7:59:35 to claim the 102km event which started and ended near the National Tennis Centre of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - YANG Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim set new personal marks in three events at the 5th Brunei Open and Masters Swimming Championship 2016 yesterday.

Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah graced the event at the Aquatics Centre of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

Aiman, Chok through to Open Doubles final

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - MD AIMAN Abdullah and Ian Chok are through to today’s final of the third leg of the BDTA (Brunei Darussalam Tennis Association) Open Doubles tournament.

The duo defeated Timothy Lim and Zen Sii 6-0, 6-1 at the National Tennis Centre of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas last night.
