Brunei Darussalam’s boxing sensation Muhammad ‘Irfan bin Haji Abdul Razak will conduct a boxing seminar in collaboration with iconic trainer Jeff Mayweather on September 25.

The local boxer will hold the session at Fitness Zone while the United States (US)-based Mayweather, will feature as a special guest via Zoom.

Kasuka FC forward Aisan Aizuddin bin Abdullah Aiman and Wijaya FC goalkeeper Awangku Ashraf bin Pengiran Haledi received their first call-ups for national team training at the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) Football Field recently.

The Brunei Super League (BSL) rookies were delighted after the call-ups were confirmed by the coaches despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

AFC Solidarity Cup 2020 cancelled (2020)

Brunei Darussalam’s national football team and their nearest continental rivals in the world rankings will not compete in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Solidarity Cup 2020 after the AFC announced the cancellation of the tournament recently.

It was scheduled to be held on November 30 until December 13.

Projek Ikan Pusu (PIP) resumed training for the first time since the widespread closure of outdoor sports facilities as grassroots football made a safe return at the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) Football Field recently.

Projek Ikan Pusu Grassroots Football Development Programme members have begun efforts to restart training for different age groups.

Lim Jin Yee, Norfariz Awang Sayang and Aminuddin Zakwan bin Haji Tahir were added to the shortlist of potential international players after receiving call-ups for national team training at the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) Football Field.

Indera SC midfielder Aminuddin Zaqwan featured at the international level with six appearances while Norfariz and Lim received their first call-ups under head coach Mohammad Ali bin Mustafa.
