Malaysia trounce Brunei 11-0 in AFC Under-19 qualifiers (2019)

Brunei Darussalam’s under-19 team were on the receiving end of a drubbing for a second consecutive match when they were mauled 11-0 by Malaysia in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-19 Championship Qualifiers 2020 at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Wednesday night.

The Young Wasps were heavily beaten 9-0 by Thailand in their second Group ‘G’ tie, having opened their campaign with a 4-3 win against Northern Mariana Islands.

Roadshow to promote tag rugby (2019)

To promote tag rugby in Asia, the Department of Youth and Sports (JBS) under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports held a Tag Rugby Roadshow at the Sports School on Thursday.

The roadshow, organised by participants of the JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) Programme 2019 with the cooperation of the national rugby association, the head coach of JBS tag rugby and Sports School, was a continuation programme from Japan.

A total of 25 members from the YBs (Retired) Badminton Team Brunei Darussalam participated in an exhibition match for the 10th time in Sarawak at the SIBU Trade and Exhibition Centre recently.
