Moksin on top at Baiduri Masters

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - MOKSIN Jinaidi unseated Idris Osman from the Baiduri Masters leaderboard yesterday after a sizzling afternoon score of two-under 69 yesterday, besting his previous score of 73 last Sunday.

The leaderboard saw a large influx of new contenders with the addition of four new golfers at the end of yesterday’s afternoon session at the RBA Golf Club.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - NATIONAL netball coach Thilaka Jinadasa said that she now knows her starting line-up after the national team played a series of friendly matches in Sabah.

The Royal Bees were in Kota Kinabalu to play three friendly games against the Sabah state netball team as they gear up for the 10th Asian Netball Championship to be held in Thailand from July 30 - August 7.

Faiz Dzuhairy wins Bowler of the Month award

BELAIT - SIXTEEN year old Faiz Dzuhairy Dzarfan bowled a 217 point average across eight consecutive games earlier this month to win Grand Seria Bowling Centre’s bowler of the month award for May.

Faiz was only ranked 13 out of 18 bowlers who qualified for the monthly contest, but the Year 11 student managed 57 strikes and 26 spares, scoring 236, 239, 214, 230, 214, 202, 232 and 170 across game one to eight.
