NFABD begins search for players to form national team (2020)

The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) has initiated the process of assembling a national team following a training session for potential players at the NFABD Football Field in Berakas last night.

The training session featured players who are based in domestic clubs from the Brunei Super League (BSL), of which the list of players is obtained from Technical Director Sivaji Narayan, and is accompanied with an experienced coaching management.

COVID-19 Brunei_De-escalation: Organised sporting events now allowed (2020)

Organised sporting events for recreation such as running, walking and cycling, and exercises such as aerobics and tai chi are allowed from September 7.

This was shared by Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin on the updated guidelines for organised sports during a press conference at the Al-‘Afiah Hall of the Ministry ofHealth on Thursday.

Adi Said’s former club UiTM FC returned to competitive action in the Malaysia Super League 2020 recently following an enforced break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The newly promoted Lion Troops sealed a 1-0 win against Felda United at the Tun Abdul Razak Stadium to climb to fifth in the table.

ISC confident of producing football talents (2020)

Indera Sports Club (ISC) set their sights to produce talented players to upgrade the local football quality.

Head of Youth Development Roney bin Morni shared progress achieved through the Youth Development Programme which involves players from the grassroots level to be refined as football players who follow systematic training.
