NEWLY appointed YTE head coach Federico Samson took charge last night in his first training session with his new charges ahead of the team’s title defence in the You-C1000 Basketball Cup at the Brunei Basketball Association Court in Batu Bersurat on Friday.

Ten teams will battle it out for the championship.

DPMM FC missed the chance to go seven points clear of the chasing pack after a 1-1 draw against Young Lions in the AIA Singapore Premier League at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore last night.

The Gegar Gegar men enjoyed a dream start after defender Charlie Clough’s header gave them a ninth-minute lead to open his account for the club but Naqiuddin Eunos wonder strike for Young Lions ensured share of the spoils.

Pennock hails DPMM FC supporters as Singapore league’s best (2019)

DPMM FC head coach Adrian Pennock hailed the club’s supporters as the best in the league ahead of an away tie against Young Lions in the AIA Singapore Premier League at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore tonight.

The Gegar Gegar men face the national development team for the second time in nearly four weeks amid a packed away schedule as they continue their pursuit of the league title.

Brunei under-18s lose 7-2 to Timor-Leste (2019)

BRUNEI Darussalam under-18 national team began their campaign in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-18 Youth Championship with a 7-2 defeat to Timor-Leste at the Go Dau Stadium in Thu Dau Mot, Vietnam last night.

The Timorese raced to a 3-0 lead at the break after they succeeded in breaching Brunei’s goal on the 12th, 31st and 44th minute.
