SOME 70 participants comprising junior football players competed at Dash Football Festival organised by Dash Football Academy at the Rimba I Secondary School last weekend.

The competition, divided into three categories, carried a theme of a Japanese club competing in the J1 League, the top professional league in Japan.

THE Brunei Darussalam National Youth Pencak Silat Championship continued on Friday at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

The Seni event for the Tunggal Wanita (Girl’s Individual), Ganda Lelaki (Boy’s Double), Ganda Wanita (Girl’s Double) and Tunggal Lelaki (Boy’s Individual) was contested on the first day after the opening ceremony.

Brunei Open Fencing Championship begins today (2019)

THE Brunei Darussalam Fencing Federation (BDFF) will organise the fourth edition of the Brunei Open Fencing Championship at the Youth Centre in the capital today (30.03.2019).

The competition, which concludes tomorrow (31.03.2019), aims to provide experience for all local fencers, especially the new ones. Fencers from Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia will also participate.

Five Bruneians off to Jakarta for Strongman Mania 2019

FIVE members from Brunei Chainblock Gym left the country on Friday to compete in the Strongman Mania 2019 at Cinere Bellevue Mall, Jakarta, Indonesia.

They are Muhd Hadi Dinie bin Abdul Rahman, Md Azhar bin Azman, Pengiran Roslannie bin Pengiran Sahari, Md Hamizan bin Haji Zainal and Pengiran Aminulakbar bin Pengiran Haji Badaruddin.
