SEA Games medallists recognised (2020)

Brunei medallists in last year’s 30th SEA Games in the Philippines were recognised for their achievements on Monday afternoon.

They received BND76,100 from the Sports Excellence Incentive Scheme (SPKS) under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in a ceremony at the Indoor Stadium in Berakas.

The cycling community between Brunei Darussalam and Labuan saw their friendship reach greater heights following the successful hosting of the inaugural Friendship Ride between the two neighbours.

Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim ibni Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah participated in the Under-13 Boys category of the Omni 3×3 Challenge at the International School Brunei (ISB) on Sunday.

Yang Teramat Mulia played for the Under the Shelf team.

BASA set to host swimming meet today (2020)

The Brunei Amateur Swimming Association (BASA) will host the 7th Brunei Sprints Swimming Championships at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex Swimming Pool from today until tomorrow.

Thirteen clubs will compete including 10 local teams and three overseas teams from the Philippines and East Malaysia.
