DPMM FC duo earn first call-ups (2020)

DPMM FC duo Hakeme Yazid bin Said and Hanif Farhan bin Azman received their first national call-ups during the nine-day training camp in conjunction with the FIFA calendar at the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) Football Field from October 5-13.

The duo has been promoted into the senior team having previously turned up for the under-23 side which competed in the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Manila, Philippines last December.

NFABD calls potential national players to attend training camp (2020)

The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) has called up potential national players to attend a nine-day training camp in conjunction with the FIFA calendar window at the NFABD Football Field.

The second national call-up, which started on October 5 and set to conclude today, featured a host of DPMM FC regulars and returning players from the first call-up in September.

Singapore Premier League resumes on October 17 (2020)

The AIA Singapore Premier League (SPL) for the 2020 season will resume on October 17 after nearly seven months of hiatus due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) received the green light on the resumption after Singapore’s Minister for Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) Edwin Tong made an announcement on the restart date recently.

Sports School has highlighted its plans to develop and train individuals as a pathway to be integrated into the national pool following a dialogue session with several sports associations in the country at its premises in Kampung Pulaie on Tuesday.

Brunei Darussalam’s pencak silat community gained a better understanding on the latest developments of the martial art sport during the 2nd Pencak Silat New Competition Regulations 2020 Zoom Seminar at the Sports School in Berakas on Sunday.

Vice President of Brunei Darussalam Pencak Silat Federation (PERSIB) Pengiran Haji Abdul Karim bin Pengiran Haji Metassan was selected as one of the speakers and discussed the articles contained in the new competition regulations.
