BRUNEI armwrestlers emerged victorious in the first Supermatch Borneo 2019 held at Medan Selera, Federal Territory of Labuan recently.

The delegation was awarded overall runner-up with three gold medals, four silver medals and two bronze medals.

Brunei under-21 netball team finish sixth in Asian youth meet (2019)

BRUNEI Darussalam’s under-21 netball team matched their achievements from their previous participation four years ago in the Asian Youth Netball Championship (AYNC) after they finished in sixth place at Kashima, Japan recently.

The Bruneians fought valiantly in the 47-43 defeat to regional foes Thailand in the fifth place playoff to close the campaign in their return to the prestigious continental competition.

Local bowler shines at Sarawak meet (2019)

NATASYA Rafie amassed four trophies in four different divisions in the span of two days at the Sarawak Borneo Tenpin Bowling Championship 2019 in Kuching, Sarawak last weekend.

Fresh off her momentum of winning gold medals at the 40th Malaysian International Open and the 51st Singapore International Open, the 18-year-old national bowler brought home a gold medal in the Ladies’ Division and a silver medal in the Graded Division to go along with her bronze medals in the Youth Girls’ Open and Open divisions in the mixed pool on the final day.

Local 4×4 racer wins award at Malaysia meet (2019)

LOCAL motorsport enthusiast Vance Lee Khin Pek continues to excel in the 4×4 motoring sport when he collected the Best Rainforest 2019 Winner Special Award last weekend at the Rainforest Trophy Malaysia 2019 event held from June 28 to July 6 in Kuala Chini in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Vance Lee, driving with his partner Li from China, was the overall champion last year at the same competition.
