BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - THE Takaful Brunei Futsal Super League match between reigning champions Kota Junior and RizFiz Futsal Team was stopped last night due to a technical error at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.
The final futsal match of the day was stopped just five minutes into the second half with Kota Junior leading 6-3. The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) has confirmed that the match will be rescheduled in due time after a meeting between the two teams and the governing body’s futsal tournament department.
Meanwhile, the other matches of the day saw PBDB FT crushing NFT 8-4. The win pushed PBDB at the summit of the 11-team table with nine points.
Shah United FT edged past the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) 1-0 and now sit at second also with nine points.
The other two matches of the day saw Street United FT beating First Five FT 6-3 while Pega Star FT defeated Arbisyam FC 6-5.
