BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - THE Japanese national badminton team concluded their two-day practice session with the Brunei national team last night.

Held at Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas, the practice sessions were the highlight of a four-day visit to Brunei by the five-member team.

The sport exchange is a part of Japan Prime Minister Abe’s “Sport for Tomorrow’ initiative, which aims to promote sports to over 10 million people in over 100 nations until 2020 — when Japan hosts the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
