BRUNEI Darussalam recorded their third successive home win after coming from behind to edge Warriors FC 2-1 in the Singapore Premier League at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Saturday night.
The result meant that they climbed to third place in the table ahead of Home United FC, who play today, via goal difference.
The ‘Gegar-Gegar’ men were returning to play in front of a home crowd since April having netted eight goals in two home matches.
The visitors took the lead in the 26th minute through Ignatius Ang for his second goal in as many matches.
The Warriors preserved their lead until half-time but the hosts lifted the home crowd through an Mojtaba Mollasaraei’s equaliser in the 57th minute.
DPMM FC’s forward Adi Said, who has grown in influence after a string of strong performances this season, scored the winner in the 66th minute.
