DAWAT Martin finished fifth place after recording 39.38 points in the men’s javelin throw event of the Asian Paralympic Games 2018 in Indonesia.
Uzbekistan won gold while the Islamic Republic of Iran bagged both silver and bronze.
In the women’s shot put, Norehsan Haji Mataha took seventh place with 8.48 points. Uzbekistan won gold and China won silver and bronze. Shari Haji Juma’at finished 19th in the men’s discuss throw with 22.53 points and Hirdan Haji Abdul Kadir 22nd with 24.25 points. Top three spots were won by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In 10-pin bowling, Muhammad Jamary Danggal finished eighth in the Singles B1 Mixed after recording 875 points. The Republic of Korea won gold and silver, while Japan bagged bronze.
Kamarul Ariffin Haji Abdul Ghaffar took fourth place in the Singles B2 Mixed with 1,251 points. Republic of Korea won the gold and silver in the category, while Thailand took bronze.
Saidin Haji Awang took seventh place with 1,080 points, while Khairul Anwar Haji Abdul Ghaffar finished 11th in the Singles B3 men’s event with 999 points. Gold went to Republic of Korea, Taiwan took silver and Malaysia, bronze.
On Tuesday, Norehsan Haji Mataha finished fifth place in the women’s javelin throw with 14.08 points. China won gold, with Taiwan trailing in second and Islamic Republic of Iran third.
Hirdan Haji Abdul Kadir was placed 12th in the men’s shot put with 8.61 points.
A Doubles Mixed event in the 10-pin bowling will be competed by Muhammad Jamary Danggat and Saidin Haji Awang Damit against Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Singapore and Thailand.
