SFR win RBAF Water Polo Championship (2019)

THE Special Forces Regiment (SFR) water polo team emerged as champions after defeating the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) with a 4-0 win at the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Water Polo Championship finals held at Rimba Air Base Sports Complex on Friday.

Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) came in third place by defeating Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).

Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad presented the prizes as the guest of honour.

Meanwhile, the SFR swimming team clinched the swimming championship finals with a total of seven gold, two silver and one bronze medals.

The RBLF came in second place and the RBN came in third place.

The RBAF Swimming and Water Polo Championship 2018/2019 began on March 11 and saw the participation of six teams, the Ministry of Defence, the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Training Institute RBAF (TI RBAF) and Special Forces Regiment (SFR).
