WAKANDA Cycling.Bn Cycling Team received jersey sponsorship for the period of 2019 from McDonald’s at the McDonald’s Jerudong Drive Thru last Friday night.
Wakanda Cycling.Bn is preparing for the Brunei Classic Cycling Race in early July. The team will be competing in the CIMB Cycling Competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on April 21.
McDonald’s Operation Manager Shahrizan bin Samat presented the jerseys to the Team Manager Amir Jamin.
A total of 10 team members, including six riders and three crews, will join the race led by Amir Jamin.
The team started preparing since early this year, training five days a week. Amir Jamin commented to the Weekend Bulletin that they trained around three to four hours a day, mostly along the highway travelling 100 to 150km.
“We have seasoned cyclists, some are former national riders and some are still in the national team. They trained the team together in preparation for the Brunei Classic and also for future races outside the country.”
