A TOTAL of 40 participants attended the 3rd World Hapkido Martial Arts Federation (WHMAF) Seminar organised by Hapkido Brunei Darussalam at the Sports School recently.

WHMAF Secretary General Master Park Hyung Jun and WHMAF International Director of Games and South East Asia Hapkido Union (SEAHU) Secretary General Master Vincentius Yoyok Suryadi shared knowledge with the participants. Both are members of the WHMAF international master instructor team. Consul at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Brunei Darussalam Lee Sanghoon was the guest of honour.

The seminar was held to promote hapkido, also referred to as Korean martial arts, and to upgrade the existing members’ skills.

Hapkido Brunei Darussalam expressed their gratitude to the instructors for sharing their knowledge with the participants as well as the guest of honour, who is also in charge of sports and culture, for taking his time to come and watch their final training and attend the closing ceremony.

They also thanked the participants, some of them who travelled all the way from Belait.

Hapkido Brunei Darussalam, who is an affiliate member of the WHMAF and SEAHU, hoped that everyone will continue with their training and further heighten their knowledge and strengthen relationship.
