Two Brunei judokas head for Japan (2019)

Two Judo instructors from the Brunei Darussalam National Judo Federation (BDNJF) left the country last Sunday to attend the International Judo Seminar in Tokyo from October 7-November 1, organised by the Japan Foundation Asia Center and the Kodokan Judo Institute, Japan.

Chong Chee Kiong and Muhammad Ali-Rashid bin Haji Mohammad Alipah were nominated to attend an International Judo Seminar which is part of the Japan-ASEAN Jita-Kyoei Project involving all Southeast Asian Judo Federations.

Two instructors from each ASEAN member state have been invited to attend the seminar aiming to improve their skills and knowledge to promote the diffusion and development of Judo in their countries while promoting understanding and friendship between Japan and ASEAN countries.
