Fernando Torres has hit out at Liverpool for portraying him as a traitor following his move to Premier League rivals Chelsea in 2011.

Anfield favourite and Atletico Madrid striker Torres swapped Liverpool for Chelsea in a big-money deal, believed to be worth £50million, more than five years ago.

Singapore League Cup : Brunei DPMM end Tampines streak, top Singapore League Cup group

Brunei DPMM finished with three wins from three matches to top Group A of the Singapore League Cup.



Brunei DPMM scored a late winner to overcome Tampines Rovers 2-1 in their League Cup Group A clash at Jalan Besar Stadium on Thursday night, ending the 100 percent record of Akbar Nawas since he took over as Stags' coach.

It looked like the match was heading for a draw after Billy Mehmet had cancelled out Adi Said's opener for DPMM. However, Wasps' substitute Azim Izamuddin capitalised on a clanger by Tampines goalkeeper Joey Sim to win the game in the 86th minute.

Club Friendlies : Liverpool roll to 4th straight win

Sadio Mane and Liverpool collected their fourth straight preseason win on Wednesday.



Everything was in order at home just hours before Liverpool go on their travels as they recorded their fourth straight win of the preseason with a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night.

Marko Grujic and Alberto Moreno scored the goals at the John Smith's Stadium as Jurgen Klopp's side edged his long-time friend David Wagner's Championship outfit. Liverpool travel to the United States immediately after the game to continue their summer schedule.

Chelsea sign Kante from Leicester City

The 25-year-old has put pen to paper at Stamford Bridge ahead of the new season and has revealed his excitement ahead of joining up with his new team-mates



Chelsea have announced the signing of N'Golo Kante on a five-year deal, with the France international arriving from Premier League champions Leicester City.

Speaking to the club's website as the move was completed, the midfielder said: "The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down.
