Manchester City will face Romanian side Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League play-off round.

Joel Campbell and Alex Iwobi scored twice as Arsenal breezed to a 8-0 win over Norwegian side Viking FK on Friday, while Theo Walcott also netted his first goal of the preseason.

The Gunners led 1-0 at the break and then pulled away with four goals in a 10-minute span early in the second half as their Norwegian opponents crumbled.

Claudio Ranieri and goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel have both extended their deals with the title winners



Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has signed a new four-year contract with the Premier League champions.

The Italian, 64, led the Foxes to their first top-flight title in his first season with the club.

Europa League Review : West Ham advance, Aberdeen out

A Cheikhou Kouyate helped West Ham advance to the Europa League playoff round.




West Ham avoided a false start at the London Stadium with a 3-0 Europa League qualifying win over Slovenian minnows NK Domzale on Thursday.

Cheikhou Kouyate scored twice and new signing Sofiane Feghouli opened his account as the Hammers, who left Upton Park at the end of last season, secured a 4-2 aggregate win to reach the final playoff round before the group stage.
