Kompany unharmed after plane incident

Vincent Kompany was in Norwich to watch his side's 3-0 victory on Saturday.




Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany was on board a plane which came off the runway at Norwich Airport on Saturday.

Sources tell Press Association Sport that City's injured captain had been watching his side beat Norwich 3-0 in the FA Cup before a charter plane was due to take him home. The plane suffered problems as it tried to take off but Kompany was unhurt.

Oxford celebrate one of Kemar Roofe's two goals.



Kemar Roofe was Oxford United's two-goal hero as Swansea City found themselves on the wrong end of the only major upset of the FA Cup third round.

Former West Brom youngster Roofe scored twice in the second half as the League Two Us came from behind to stun the Premier League side 3-2.

Hiddink: Oscar-Costa clash shows fight and emotion

The Blues duo came to blows in training on Thursday, but the interim manager states he is not worried, adding it makes the training session "on edge"



Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink encouraged players to show fight and emotion, claiming it raises their level of playing, following a clash between Oscar and Diego Costa.

The two Blues stars were involved in a training ground bust-up on Thursday, with Hiddink confirming they buried the hatchet soon afterwards.

The Uruguay striker was involved in an altercation with Pape Diop during the game and is then alleged to have threatened Espanyol's players after the 4-1 victory



Barcelona have confirmed that they will appeal Luis Suarez's two-game Copa del Rey suspension after the Uruguayan's alleged involvement in a tunnel bust-up with Espanyol's players.

Suarez was alleged to have threatened his counterparts following Barca's 4-1 win, having been involved in an altercation with Pape Diop during the game which culminated in the Espanyol midfielder receiving a red card.
