Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri and captain Cesar Azpilicueta have both apologised after their side's 6-0 defeat at Manchester City.

City led 4-0 after 25 minutes as Chelsea lost their third straight away game, conceding 12 goals without reply.

Chelsea were hammered 4-0 at Bournemouth in their last away league match and Maurizio Sarri's side were taken apart by the defending champions at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, the Blues suffering their heaviest ever Premier League loss.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s remarkable level of consistency at the top level of European football continued after he notched his 20th goal of the season for Juventus against Sassuolo on Sunday.

Ronaldo headed Juve’s second goal in a comfortable 3-0 victory at MAPEI Stadium to extend their lead at the top of Serie A to 11 points.

Tottenham battled to a 3-1 victory over Leicester City on Sunday to close to within five points of Premier League leaders Liverpool.

A first goal for the club from Davinson Sanchez and a fine strike from Christian Eriksen were enough to give Mauricio Pochettino's side the win at Wembley.
