Leicester City face injury woes ahead of Spurs, Manchester United matches




Leicester City will be without key midfielder James Maddison (hip) and defenders Ben Chilwell (thigh) and Christian Fuchs (groin) for their final two games of the season, hampering their bid for Champions League qualification.

Leicester beat Sheffield United 2-0 on Thursday to stay fourth in the league, ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United, who won 2-0 at Crystal Palace.

Real Madrid wrapped up the title in LaLiga with a game to spare thanks to a classy victory over Villarreal



Karim Benzema scored a goal in each half as Real Madrid clinched a 34th LaLiga title with a 2-1 victory over Villarreal.

The Frenchman's 20th and 21st league goals - the second of which came from a contentious penalty - of the season ultimately earned a win at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano that meant Barcelona's result against Osasuna was rendered immaterial.

Fifa World Cup 2022: Four games a day to be played in group stage in Qatar



Four matches will be played each day during the group stage of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Fifa has announced.

The group games will be played over a 12-day period, with matches not being assigned to particular venues until after the finals draw in March 2022.

Premier League & EFL summer transfer window to be from 27 July to 5 October 2020

The 2019-20 Premier League season will end on 26 July


The Premier League and English Football League summer transfer windows will be open for 10 weeks between 27 July and 5 October, subject to Fifa approval.

In addition, the Premier League and EFL say there will be a domestic-only window between 5-16 October.
