KUALA LUMPUR: Lee Chong Wei accomplished his goal of winning a 10th men's singles title in the Maybank Malaysia Open while there was further cheers from Goh V Shem-Lim Khim Wah who claimed the men's doubles crown at Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil today.
Chong Wei, the World No 1, who secured a 21-19, 21-9 victory over Tommy Sugiarto of Indonesia, said it will be his last Malaysia Open as he is planning to call it a day at the end of the year.
V Shem-Khim Wah ended their fairytale run in the tournament with a 21-19, 21-18 win over Chai Biao-Hong Wei of China to end a three-year drought in the men's doubles.
