Brunei Darussalam continued its streak of no COVID-19 cases on Monday, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 219.
Ten active cases are receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong District. All are in a stable condition.
Information on the COVID-19 situation in the country as of noon on Monday was released by the Ministry of Health (MoH).
According to the MoH, the Sultanate has had no local transmissions for 341 days.
A total of 392 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after returning from abroad, with 16,607 individuals having completed mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres since March 2020.
Over the past 24 hours, 133 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus testing, bringing the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 117,153.
Healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there have been 184 cases in Brunei-Muara District, 29 in Belait District and six in Tutong District.
For the ongoing national vaccination programme, 5,145 individuals have been vaccinated since April 3.
The breakdown of the vaccination shows 3,843 persons have been vaccinated in Brunei-Muara District, 568 in Belait District, 446 in Tutong District and 288 in Temburong District.
